Our Story
After 13 years of working at Google and about 8 years of working in EdTech, Laura (Wanderly's founder) decided to take the leap and start Wanderly out of her own home in Oakland, CA. She works on it with her husband and two kids, Alanna (7) and Selena (3).
Wanderly is an opportunity to weave together the magic of AI, storytelling, and education into a new kind of bedtime story, that can build connection, imagination, and emotional intelligence.

Hi, I'm Laura.
Growing up, I loved the stories my mother and I made up together at night.
Now that I have two children of my own, I realize how hard that must have been for her to do!
Wanderly is an interactive storytelling app and publisher that creates never-before-told stories based on your child's imagination. It works just like the stories I used to tell with my mom: Wanderly provides the words, but it's your child's choices that shape the story!
